MICRO-REVIEWS.

If you're looking for a deep-dive, multi-paragraph analysis for each volume, you won't find it here.
[Would I love to do that? Sure, but realistically, that's not sustainable.]

If, however, you're looking for a quick recommendation for relevance to a middle school collection, stay!

I love this series and it's PERFECT for middle school. [That's it. That's the review.]

If you want more in way of commentary. Here goes. This series focuses on Midori Nanami, a joyous, plucky first-year high school student who is tasked with getting three 'troublemakers' to come to school. Are they really troublemakers? Of course not. [There was a misunderstanding.] Does Nanami get them to come to school through her earnest efforts and mystery/problem-solving? Yes.

There are a lot of glorious tropes that are well-done here. Bad boy and good girl romance. Rich boy(s) and hard-working girl. Disapproving 'upper-class' family. The budding romance is sweet and I'm 100% invested in it.

The art style is very pretty and you may recognize it from Yoko Nogiri's other series [That Wolf-Boy is Mine and Love in Focus]. This is my favorite girl-boy manga romance I've read in a while. In fact, right now, I'm calling it my favorite straight romance realistic fiction middle school manga.

Volume 7 comes out in July, 2022.
